We decided to take another crack at it last night, trying to switch up the format, get the mics working right and see what other avenues we could use to make this show go. RichRadio in Beta!

So me and Chop Steak (John C, the Austin compadre) decided to test out the various means of recording and streaming last night to see what worked best... Shoutcast, Nicecast, or just recording straight through Garageband and making it a podcast (thus taking the "live" out of RichRadio Live"). Well, as far as experiments go we did learn a few valuable lessons.

Nicecast doesn't broadcast shit.

Shoutcast doesn't broadcast the mics.

Garageband just takes a long time to format the program.

But there is a show, and because you logged in early before this whole notion has been rolled out to the public, you get it. Hooray you.

RichRadio's Coming Back!

We moved to Austin, TX back in March and we've been working diligently (see: when we're sober) to bring the show back. We got a new cast of characters and a couple of bottles of Maker's Mark and we're ready to do it again.

So keep checking back with the blog, we'll be posting up mixes and shows from RichRadio as well as other Richardson Institute For Sartorial Excellence affiliated projects and other stuff we like... and yes, I refer to RichRadio in the plural even though its really just me because I'm a megalomaniac like that.
